Wilderness Resort | Wisconsin Dells

Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells is America’s largest waterpark resort. When they added a new attraction called Take Flight, they wanted to take the entire resort to the next level. They did it with digital signs from Daktronics.

Engaging Vacationers Outside and In

To draw visitors to their new attraction, Wilderness Resort installed three digital signs.

Their 10mm pixel pitch digital display sits about four feet off the ground and advertises the Take Flight experience to people who pass at close range.

The second 10mm roadside marquee, soars about 54 feet off the ground to reach passing traffic. The sign also features the overarching Wilderness Resort branded logo.

Inside the Water Dome, they use their giant 3.9mm indoor display to show both advertising and entertainment. They took it a step further by adding a control system that switches the content to a camera feed when the wave pool generator kicks on, so kids and parents can watch themselves having a great time.

Integrity. Quality. Reliability.

In these harsh environments, Daktronics engineers and testing processes ensured their narrow pixel pitch products worked reliably indoors and outdoors, while the content and interactive abilities make the technology exciting and entertaining to viewers.
