As Vice President of Strategy, Bradley Drummond leads the development and alignment of Daktronics long-term strategic direction. In this role, he collaborates closely with leaders across all business units and functions to define cohesive strategies, strengthen companywide initiatives, and ensure measurable progress toward board-defined priorities. Bradley brings a disciplined yet flexible approach to strategic planning – emphasizing clarity, accountability, and alignment to help Daktronics navigate dynamic markets and continue its next phase of growth.

With more than 20 years of global experience in the professional audiovisual industry, Bradley’s background spans strategy, product management, business development, and technology innovation. His career began in the hospitality and entertainment world, where he designed, installed, and commissioned sound, lighting, and video systems for high‑end venues across the United States. He later acted as assistant general manager at a Cirque du Soleil–affiliated theater/nightclub in Las Vegas, in charge of service and venue staff while acting as a liaison to the technology team before moving into strategic and leadership roles at Harman International, LEA Professional, Bosch and KEENFINITY Group.

At Harman, Bradley was instrumental in building a global team from the ground up, developing product roadmaps, go‑to‑market plans, and customer relationships across nightlife, hospitality, cinema, broadcast, and house‑of‑worship markets. Based in China, he led a global $300 million portfolio and oversaw teams responsible for solutions and strategy management. He has since held roles that blend operational ownership with long‑range strategic planning, including global segment oversight and cross‑functional coordination.

Bradley’s background gives him a distinct combination of hands‑on technical understanding, customer‑centric decision‑making, and big‑picture strategic vision. He is known for his ability to translate complex challenges into clear, visual frameworks that help teams align and execute together – an approach well‑suited to Daktronics’ culture of practical, honest, and forward‑looking communication.

Originally from the Boston area, Bradley has lived and worked around the world, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Shenzhen, and the Midwest, and he has traveled to more than 50 countries. His global experiences broaden his perspective on cultural dynamics, market trends, and user expectations.

Outside of work, he enjoys golf, cooking, music, gaming, and collecting colorful popart pieces from the cities and cultures that have shaped him.

Bradley holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
