Environment
- Adobe After Effects
- Custom Game Threads head shots and match up templates.
Daktronics Creative Services uses the latest Adobe Creative Cloud tools for all projects. If purchasing templated files, you must own/ purchase this software and understand how to use it to update the files accordingly. Training resources are available on Adobe's website if needed.
Steps
Installing fonts for MAC and Windows.

For Windows (PC)
- Extract the files from the zipped folder.
- Locate the font file
- You will find the fonts in the Client Assets folder within your deliverables that you received from Daktronics.
- Install the font.
- Method 1:
- Right-click on the font file.
- Select Install from the context menu.
- Method 2:
- Open the font file by double-clicking it.
- In the window that opens, click the Install button at the top left.
- Method 1:
- Confirm installation.
- The font will now be installed. You can check by opening After Effects and looking for the font in the font dropdown list.
- Optional: install for all users.
- To install the font for all users on the PC, right-click the font file and choose Install for all users (requires admin permissions).
For MAC
- Extract the files from the zipped folder.
- You will find the fonts in the Client Assets folder within your deliverables that you received from Daktronics.
- Install the font.
- Method 1:
- Double-click the font file to open Font Book (the font management app for macOS).
- Click the Install Font button in the Font Book preview window.
- Method 2:
- Open Font Book (located in the Applications folder).
- Drag the font file into the User section of the Font Book window.
- Verify the installation.
- The font will now appear in Font Book and will be available in any app that uses fonts, like Pages, Word, or Photoshop.
Optional: Install for All Users.
- To install for all users, in Font Book, drag the font into the computer section instead of the User section.
