Video: How to get video to the display with VIP-4500 front panel buttons, bypass Venus 7000

Topic

Many of the video processor settings can be changed through the Front Panel Interface.
To scroll through the settings, use the left and right arrows. To change a setting, use the up and down 
arrows. When you have the setting at the desired value, use the middle button to apply the settings. 
Use a VIP-4500 to play video on a display without a Venus 7000

Initial configuration and property edits of the VIP are typically accomplished using Venus 7000 software. Generally, this approach is the easiest and most practical. However, if a 7000 is not available, use Tera Term or the front panel buttons.

Steps

The settings are not saved until you save the configuration. Rebooting the processor will cause the settings to revert. The configuration using the front panel under the Configuration (CF) setting to the last saved configuration.
