Newly installed Venus 1500 freezes or is sluggish when loaded with transferred database, change Scheduled Mode

Potential Symptoms

  • When trying to add or remove files from schedule, get alert stating "This playlist exceeds the maximum playlist size by 2850."
  • Software may freeze when above alert pops up. 
  • Previews of messages show up slow, but play fine on display.
  • Venus 1500 runs normally at start up but after a few minutes it slows down drastically.
  • Unable to open Content Studio once Venus 1500 slows down.

  • Database has a very large schedule originally created in Schedule Mode but new Venus 1500 software is in Continuous Mode.
