Daktronics Showing New Generation of LED Technology at ISE 2018
Chip-on-board demonstration, interactive content also on display
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Jan. 26, 2018 – When Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018 kicks off February 6 in Amsterdam, Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) will exhibit its latest generation of technology featuring narrow pixel pitches, interactive content and also a chip-on-board technology demonstration. These showcases can be seen at Stand K240 in Hall 8 during the exhibit hours of the world's largest AV systems integration show.
"The ISE event provides an excellent opportunity to communicate with our international partners as we continue to research and develop solutions for their customer's unique needs and applications," said Pete Egart, vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa markets for Daktronics. "In addition, ISE offers a great atmosphere for sharing ideas and demonstrating technologies to potential customers."
This year, Daktronics will be demonstrating chip-on-board technology within the stand. In celebration of 50 years of innovation, this demonstration is a rare glimpse behind the curtain to see the company's development team's progress on a new, emerging technology.
Interactive content in the booth will leave attendees with an example of how to bring LED displays to life in eye-catching and engaging ways.
The new generation of LED technology for ultra-close viewing distances brings pixel spacing as close as 1.2, 1.5, 1.9 and 2.5 millimeters. These narrow pixel pitches provide opportunities for venues and advertisers to bring messages to their audiences in new, exciting ways. Daktronics innovated a new proprietary latching system to virtually eliminate any potential damage to LEDs during installation and service modes.
Daktronics has attended ISE for the past 14 years as the company continues to connect with customers on a global level.
