Daktronics and SEGD Partner to Create New Two-Day Event: SEGD Sports + Entertainment in Las Vegas on April 10-11

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Mar. 4, 2024 – As design, sports and entertainment intersect in new ways, Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has signed on as a Diamond Industry Partner with SEGD which includes support of SEGD Sports + Entertainment. Taking place at Circa Las Vegas on April 10-11, the event will feature keynote speakers, expert-led panels, networking opportunities and tours of a world-class venue.

SEGD Sports + Entertainment Co-Chair Kris Helmick says, “For the first time, SEGD is taking a deep dive into how experience design intersects sports and entertainment. This event stretches across the industry and is tailored to both individuals wanting to break into this category of work and those who are currently practicing, both from the design side and the end clients’ side.”

The event’s mission is to forge a dynamic and creative hub that redefines brand and experiential activations in the realms of sports and entertainment. The gathering is intended to be a haven for industry experts, design enthusiasts and thought leaders to provide a platform for revolutionary design perspectives, innovative strategies and collaborative exchange.
