Utah's Juab High School Welcomes Daktronics Video Display to the Turf

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Oct. 5, 2018 – A video display designed and manufactured by Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has made its home in Juab High School's football stadium in Nephi, Utah. It measures 14 feet high by 24 feet wide with a 15HD pixel layout.

Students operate the video display as part of a Sports Marketing class, new to the school since the arrival of the video display.

"The value in teaching students the skills they learn in operating the display is huge for potential career opportunities," said Janell Bowles, a business teacher at Juab High. "You can sense students' enthusiasm. In my experience, what I've seen so far shows me this is where the future is. Video scoreboards are the solution, given today's technological capabilities and the popularity of high school athletics."
