Faith Lutheran Church Welcomes Worshipers with Daktronics LED Display

New LED video display adds extra element to services and events for visitors

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Dec. 11, 2018 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has manufactured and installed a new LED video display at Faith Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Measuring approximately 7.5 feet high by 13.5 feet wide, the new screen adds a new, positive visual element to services and other events.

"The new media display in our sanctuary has benefited us immensely as the images are vivid and clear and can be viewed from nearly any location in our space," said Rev. Kevin Doely, senior pastor at Faith Lutheran Church. "Members who have visual problems have expressed delight that they can see the display and it enhances their worship experience. Our young people are excited as they have never been in a classroom without a screen as we expand our teaching ministries. We are very thankful for this new technology and the ways we can use it for worship and public gatherings!"

The display features 4-millimeter line spacing to bring exceptional image quality and contrast to video, graphics, text and other imagery shown on the display. It can switch seamlessly between live video during sermons to hymn and song lyrics, biblical verses, and other text to help visitors follow along and actively participate in services.
