Daktronics Installs New Video Displays for Chicago Dogs at Impact Field

Main video and backside video displays installed this winter

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Mar. 29, 2018 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has manufactured and installed two new LED video displays for the Chicago Dogs at Impact Field in Rosemont, Illinois. The displays were recently installed and are prepared to inform and entertain fans this season.

The new main video display in the outfield measures approximately 27.5 feet high by 49 feet wide and features a 15HD pixel layout. It will bring excellent image clarity and contrast with wide angle visibility to fans in every seat of the ballpark.

On the backside of the main display, an identical display featuring the same measurements and pixel spacing will share messages with fans as they arrive at the stadium.

The displays are capable of variable content zoning allowing each to show one large image or to be divided into multiple windows to show any combination of live video, instant replays, game information and statistics, graphics and animations, and sponsorship messages.

Daktronics will also be including its powerful Show Control System with this installation.
