Steps
Make sure ERTD to Fusion Scripting has been set up.
Also verify that the Display Devices have been designated as Primary and Backup via the Device Set buttons.
- Log in to your VENUS software
- Navigate to the Scripts tab
- Select Add New to begin building the VCS script that the display studio button will trigger
- Give the script a Title such as Fascia to Backup, then under the command parameters select Activate Primary or Backup Devices and then select Save
- After saving, you'll need to select the appropriate device that this script will be controlling. To do this, click the Edit button underneath Displays, and then select the correct device and choose Save
- To finish the script, choose if the script is activating the Primary Devices or the Backup Devices, then select Save
Create a Script button in Display Studio.
- Right click, select New button.
- Add Line
- System Control
- Advanced
- Refer to "Advanced Option Under System Control is Missing from Display Studio " if Advanced does not appear as option on the menu.
- Select Play or if available, Run Fusion Script
- Configure ERTD portion of the scripting line
- Protocol: UDP/IP (Default setting)
- Address: 255.255.255.255 (Default setting)
- Port: 27000 (to match Data Server configuration or Venus Control Suite: Data Package)
- Sign Number: Match sign used in Data Server or Venus Control Suite: Data Package.
- File: Match Fusion script name. (ex: Fascia to Backup)
