Content Studio: How do I use with Venus Control Suite?

Steps

  1. Verify Content Studio for VCS has been installed on computer. If it has not please see Content Studio: How do I download and update for Venus Control Suite? before proceeding.

  2. Access Content Studio through Venus Control Suite.  Log into Venus Control Suite. See: Venus Control Suite: How do I log in?

    1. Select the Media tab from the Venus Control Suite menu.

    2.  Select the New Content Studio Presentation in the drop down.

    3.  If a protocol request window opens, mark to remember the choice and launch the application.

    4. When the Content Studio Login box appears enter your User Name and Password. 
      • These are the same as your Venus Control Suite Login information

      • The login for Content Studio 2.0 looks like this: 
      • Choose Venus from the left side menu.  Enter your user name and password and click the Connect button
      • Choose Overview from the left side menu. Select the Continue button
    5. Content Studio will open in a separate window.
    6. Select to create for a specific Display or Display Type if prompted.
    7. Double-click inside the black box with the yellow border.  Create desired message.

  3. After presentation has been saved, you can begin a new presentation in one of three ways:
      1. Click on New icon in the top left corner.

      2. Click on the blue D box and then click New.

      3. Hold the <Ctrl> and the <N> on your keyboard.
      4. If you have more than one display, you will be prompted to choose which display or display type you want to create the new presentation for.  Make sure you select the correct display.
