Resolution

Scheduling a rotating presentation
  1. Launch Venus 1500 v4.
  2. Click Schedule tab.
  3. Click Add -> Playlist.
  4. Provide Playlist a Description.
  5. Select the Start/End dates and times desired to have the presentation rotate for.
  6. Click Play Order tab.
  7. Check the Rotate box.
  8. Click the … browse button, and browse and select the desired message to rotate, click Open.
  9. Select a desired rotation amount to set the message frequency.
  10. Click Ok.
  11. Click Publish or Publish To Display.

Note: Make sure your software is in Schedule Mode, to allow the rotating feature by following How to switch between Schedule mode and Continuous mode in Venus 1500 v4, DD1996807 to change to Schedule Mode.

Note: To remove the message from the Play Order - Rotate, simply right click inside of the box and press clear.

Manually schedule presentation(s) to play multiple times per rotation

  • While in Continuous Mode:
    1. Click on the Schedule tab
    2. Click Add button.
    3. Choose presentation(s) that you want to play more frequently. 
    4. Repeat as necessary until chosen presentation(s) appears on the schedule the desired amount of times.
    5. Reorder presentations using the Move Up and Move Down buttons if necessary.
    6. Send schedule changes by clicking the blue Publish to Display button.
  • While in Schedule Mode:
    1. Click on the Schedule tab.
    2. Click Add and select Playlist or double click to edit an existing playlist.
    3. Choose presentation(s) that you want to play more frequently by clicking the green plus sign.
    4. Repeat as necessary until chosen presentation(s) appears in the playlist the desired amount of times.
    5. Reorder presentations using the up and down arrow buttons if necessary.
    6. Set Date and Time and Recurrence patterns accordingly.
    7. Click Ok.
    8. Send schedule changes by clicking the blue Publish to Display button.
