Resolution
Step 1: Copy database from Old Computer.
- Follow Where is the Venus 1500 v3 Database?, DD1993107, for instruction where to locate Database.
- Copy the Sign Folder (i.e. 32x80rgb16m.gp.m2) inside the Database folder to a Flash/Thumb Drive or a Network Drive.
Step 2: Install Software on new PC from the original install CD.
- There is not a Full download for Venus 1500 v3, only an update to 3.12 if v3 is previously installed.
- If you cannot locate your original Install CD, please call Customer Service at 1-800-325-8766.
- If software is installed, download and update to the latest version.
- Follow How do I update my Venus 1500 v3 software to the latest 3.12?, DD2068275 for instruction.
Step 3: Configure display in Venus 1500 Administrator.
- Follow How do I create and configure a new display in Venus 1500 v3?, DD1974773, for instruction on how to configure a display.
Step 4: Place the database from the old computer into the new computers database location.
- Refer to Step 1 for instruction on how to locate where the Database is stored on the new computer.
- Copy the previously saved Sign folder from same location on new PC, overwriting the folder.
Notes:

- Venus 1500 v3.9 or lower the software database will be located at C:\Program Files\Daktronics\Venus 1500\Database.
