Time and date are not updating display; Time/Date locking up on controller

Potential Symptoms

Time and date are not updating, changing, or advancing on the display.
Time and date are Frozen, locked up, or stuck on a specific time & date and do not change on the display.
Time of day on the controller is not updating on its own.
Time will not advance/increment on the sign.
Time in Venus and M2 configuration shows an inaccurate time.
When clicking Set Time/Date or getting status, the time and date may update, but does not continue to keep time on the display.
May notice one or more messages stuck in the Stored Presentations/Messages section and will not move to Running Presentations/Messages.

When using scheduled mode in Venus 1500 v4, the current day/date is not correct.
When messages are sent or published to the display the time will update initially but will not continue to update.
In order to get message to run from a scheduled mode, have to publish messages on the day you want to run them.

Cause

Time has locked up on the controller.

Resolution

Send a reset command to the display from the Venus software (see How do I send a reset command through Venus 1500, DD2418567) or cycle power to the display.

Galaxy Display (M2 Based), Time and Date will not update on its own, DD2456202.
