How do I send a reset command through Venus 1500?

Steps

Venus 1500 v3

  1. Open the Venus 1500 Display Manager.
  2. Select the display to send the reset command under Display List.
  3. From top of screen select the Diagnostics Control View (F5) (button has two gears: green & brown).
  4. If wanting to clear the display memory (i.e. delete all stored and running presentations off of the display), check mark the Clear Display Memory checkbox otherwise leave it unchecked.
  5. Click the Reset Display button (at the bottom).
  6. Wait 1-2 minutes for the display to reboot.

Venus 1500 v4

  1. From any tab in the Venus 1500 v4 software, (Home, Content, Scheduling), connect to the display by selecting it from the middle drop down arrow box (near center top).
  2. Click on the Display Tools Drop down (little white arrow pointing down next to green refresh arrows).
  3. If wanting to clear the display memory (i.e. delete all stored and running presentations off of the display), check mark the Clear Display Memory checkbox otherwise leave it unchecked.
  4. Click the Reset Display button (near bottom of list).
  5. Wait 1-2 minutes for the display to reboot.
