Steps
Please contact your Professional Services representative if you are interested in implementing Sportec data into your Daktronics control system.
Editing the MLS - Sportec Data Studio Source
- On a computer on the Daktronics control system network (Show Control or Venus) open a new Chrome window and visit the Venus Launchpad (https://venus-p:13034/launchpad/home)
- Log into Venus Control Suite. See: Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
- Open Data Studio from the Apps Menu located in the top right of the VCS landing page. Venus: My navigation has changed after updates
- Under Data Sources, click the MLS - Sportec data source.
- Under Additional Configuration. Click the Custom Headers tab. There are 7 headers needed. The 8th (match date) is optional.
- To edit a custom header, the current header must be deleted.
- Take note which header will be deleted. It is recommended to delete one header at a time.
- Click the Trash Can on the right of the header to delete the header that will change.
- To re-enter in a custom header, click Add New. Header and Value boxes will appear. Enter the desired header and the desired value.
- Click Save when finished.
👉Only one header can be added at a time. See the table for the required headers.
🔁Repeat steps 5-7 to remove and recreate headers.

Data Trimming
- Click Next. Data Trimming should appear. Trimming data will filter the data to only send the data that is needed to display.
- Click Edit Properties.
- Select Data Properties should appear. Select the fields that are needed. These will be sent to Content Studio for content creation.
- Click Done when finished.
- On the top left corner, under Configure Web Data Source, click Save.
