Data Trimming for Web Data Sources

Access Data Studio

  1. Log into Venus Control Suite and open the Data Studio app

Create a Web Data Source

  1. Create a new source as directed in:

Configure Data Trimming

  1. Under Configure Web Data Source, in the Feeds section, Select Properties

 

  1. From the hierarchy list, select the data properties you want to use in your content

  1. Click Done

    Save the Source

    1. Verify that the Web Data Source is enabled
      • Note: The number of enabled web data sources depends on your package level
    2. Save the Web Data Source
    Data Trimming for Online Spreadsheet Sources

    Create an Online Spreadsheet Source

    1. Create a new source as directed in:

     Configure Data Trimming

    1. Navigate to the Configure Online Spreadsheet Data Source page
    2. Click on Select Properties on the Feeds tile. The Data Properties menu will slide in from the right side.

    1. From the hierarchy list, select the data properties you want to use in your content.

    Save the Source

    1. Verify that the Data Source is enabled
      • Note: The number of enabled data sources depends on your package level
    2. Save the Data Source
