How do I configure data trimming in Display Studio?

Trimming data will filter the data to only send the data properties you need to display.  This can be done to make content creation easier.

Environment

  • Product: Venus Professional, Venus Enterprise
  • Components: Data Studio, Venus Professional, Venus Enterprise
  • Control System: Venus Cloud-Based, Venus Local

Steps

Create a new Data Source. 
  1. Under Configure Web Data Source, pick Data Feed Trimming. 
  2. Select Properties.

  1. From the hierarchy list, pick the items you want to use in your content.

  1. Click Done. 
  2. Verify that the web source is enabled. (Note, the amount of enabled web data sources that can be enabled at one time depends on your package level.)
  3. Save the Web Data Source.
