Venus Control Suite Data Studio: How do I grant access for my online spreadsheet source?

This article outlines how to grant access to an Online Spreadsheet data source in Data Studio. Access is provided through secure authentication (OAuth) when connecting to Microsoft Excel (OneDrive) or Google Sheets, allowing Data Studio to read and use the selected file.

Steps

Grant Access to an Online Spreadsheet Source
  1. When adding an Online Spreadsheet in Data Studio, select your Provider (Microsoft or Google)
  2. Click Login to begin authentication
  3. Enter your account credentials
    • Complete multi-factor authentication if prompted
  4. Review the requested permissions
  5. Click Accept to grant Data Studio access to your account

Note: Granting access allows Data Studio to securely read your selected files using OAuth authentication.
