FrameWrx content with RTD elements

Steps

FrameWrks Getting Started

Open a project in FrameWrx editor

Log in:  FrameWrx: How do I log in to my account?

  1. Create > Create from Template.
  2. Search "starting lineup" or locate other templates that you would like to place data elements on.  
    • Pick the template style that matches your school's design.
  3. Choose Custom Size.

Create Settings

  1. Video
  2. Custom Size
  3. Enter the Width and Height of your video display. 
  4. Click the Select and Continue button.
Customize in the editor
  1. Use any logos or images from the asset library to finalize the look. 
  2. Take a screenshot or save a separate project for reference.  The data elements will need to be recreated in Content Studio.
  3. Remove any text fields or images that would be replace by data elements. 
    • Select the field and click on the trash icon to delete.

Export the FramwWrx project so it can be the background Content Studio.
  1. Click on the Export button.

  1. Enter the export parameters.
    1. File Name: This will be the name of the exported content. 
      • Format should be .png
    2. Click Download. 
    • This will save the file to your local computer's Downloads folder or default location. 
    • The email option will send an email with the file attached.  The email will be from Daktronics<noreply@designhuddle.com> and the title of the email will match the title of the content.

  1. Transfer the files over to the Content Studio computer to they can be used as a background of a presentation.

Content Studio

Create a new presentation in Content Studio. 
  1. To login to Content Studio, click the v2 desktop icon or Start > Daktronics > Content Studio v2 to launch the software.
  2. Click Log In. The default User Name and Password are already entered for the Content Studio Nucleus Server. 
  3. Log in to Content Studio with your User Name and Password for Venus® Control Suite.
  4. Create a Presentation
    1. Start a new presentation in Content Studio.
    2. Import the FramwWrx exported project .png file as a background.

    Add data elements.
    1. Choose your Sport Profile from the Dynamic Data Library on the left-hand side of Content Studio

    2. For example, 'Sport Profile/Category: All Sport Pro: Basketball
      1. Profile will automatically appear after the first distribution of data from Data Studio Basketball
    3. Expand the Game Info folder to view the data elements.  
    4. Click & drag the data element into the presentation.

    Format the data elements.

    1. Select on or multiple elements. 
    2. Select the format tab. 
    3. Adjust the font, size and color of the data sample. 
    • Data Elements will have a yellow outline on the layout.  This is for editing purposes and will not be visible on your display.
    • Select the element to adjust the font, size, color, justification, etc.
    • To edit multiple elements, Hold the Ctrl key down and select additional elements.

    Finish and save

    1. Click and drag other RTD fields that you wish to use in your presentation, and format appropriately.
    2. Save the presentation.
