Content will not play on sign; Issue with the graphic element

Potential ​Symptoms

• Playlist with single piece of content will not play but other playlists will.
• Old content continues to play on sign but new content will not play.
• Will not play new content but sign does update, if the display is removed from the old playlist these playlist files do stop playing on the sign but if associate the display to new playlist it will not play.
• Playlist that will not play has a single piece of content, content has multiple elements on the message frame and if the graphic element is removed from the message and resaved, the sign will run the message.
• Download arrow in Venus Control Suite.  When graphic element causing issue is removed, the arrow will go away and new content will play successfully on sign.
• Computer's CPU usage may reach 100% and the computer experience issues processing images to the point the player sticks on one ad.
  
• Video file may appear to stutter or not play all the way through.

Cause

• Issue with the graphic element.
• Wrong file type
• Bad or Unsupported Font
• Corrupt
• Image Size (height and width should be no more than 2-3 times the size of the sign matrix, best scenario is to be same as sign matrix).

Resolution

• Edit the graphic element and re-insert in message and save.

For Temporary Operation

• Use message without the graphic element.
