Steps

  1. Change the layout of the document so it's easier to edit
    • Browse to your template folder, right click on the template and open it with notepad ++
    • Change the layout of the document by using Ctrl+Alt+Shift+B
    • (This can also be done from plugins - xml tools - pretty print (xml only))

  2. Remove the shared texture, alpha and environment transforms
    • Do a search for dvegameclock or dveshotclock

    • Remove the Shared Texture section of the DVEGameClock

    • Add live texture source for the DveGameClock and DveShotClock
      • <LiveTexture LiveTextureSource="0? SubMeshIndex="0?/>

  3. Change the DVEGameClock datamap and summary for all instances
    • Do a search for EnvTextureTranslateU and change it to MainTextureTranslateU
    • Do a search for EnvTextureTranslateV and change it to MainTextureTranslateV
    • Do a search for EnvTextureScaleU and change it to MainTextureScaleU
    • Do a search for EnvTextureScaleV and change it to MainTextureScaleV

  4. Change the DVEShotClock datamap and summary for all instances
    • Do a search for EnvTextureTranslateU and change it to MainTextureTranslateU
    • Do a search for EnvTextureTranslateV and change it to MainTextureTranslateV
    • Do a search for EnvTextureScaleU and change it to MainTextureScaleU
    • Do a search for EnvTextureScaleV and change it to MainTextureScaleV

    • When all the dve game clock and dve shot clock edits are made save the template and open it with Camino.
  5. Camino Edits
    • Go to the Template_On timeline and copy the desat effect keyframe. Go to the DVEGameClockOn and DVDShotClockOn timelines.
    • Select the DVEgameclock or DVEShotclock objects and paste the keyframe effect
    • After the effect is added to the DVE game clock and shot clock timelines, delete the desat DVE frame and its contents from the scenegraph panel on the left

    • Delete the "DVE Frame" and all under it
