Receiving error: "Connection to display appears to be in use", Corrupt messages.

Potential Symptoms

  • Getting error in Venus 1500 that states: "Connection to display appears to be in use", however able to ping display and communicate with M2Config.
  • Clearing display memory and defragging does not resolve the issue.
  • Still unable to publish content after messages have been resaved.

Cause

  • Message or playlist corruption in Venus 1500 v4.

Resolution

  1. Recreate playlist/s, remove old, and publish.
  2. If the recreated playlist does not resolve issue, recreate messages, as well as playlist/s and publish.
