DMP-8065 frequently losing connection to control computer, IPv6 causing NIC failure

Potential Symptoms

  • DMP-8065 frequently losing connection to control computer, IPv6 causing NIC failure.
  • DMP Event Viewer errors:
    • The ICS_IPV6 failed to configure IPv6 stack.

    • The ICS_IPV6 was unable to allocate bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manger has encountered an internal error.
  • Connection to the DMP via VNC, web configuration, or Venus 1500 will stop randomly and require a reset to resolve.
  • Communication may hang on Get Status.
  • Sending content may take far longer than usual.
  • Send content may fail after an extended delay.
