Content does not play when using the DMP's control panel directly

Potential Symptoms

  • When using the DMP's control panel to trigger content for testing and setup, some files do not play
  • The files that do not play contain a space in the filename
  • Files without a space in the filename play correctly

Environment

  • Product Family: DMP
  • Product: DMP 8000
  • Component: DMP8000 v8.17
  • Control System: Any

Cause

  • Software bug

Resolution

  • A fix will be provided in version 8.18 of the DMP software

For Temporary Operation

  • Rollback the DMP software.
  • Remove all spaces from the content filename
