How do I disable/enable audio indicators on my buttons in Display Studio

Question

  • How do I disable/enable audio indicators on my buttons in Display Studio

Environment

  • Product Family: Software and Controllers
  • Product: Show Control 2.14.1.6 or later
  • Components: Display Studio, interactive audio
  • Control System: Show Control, Live Clips
Audio icons or indicators can be added to Display Studio script buttons so operators can avoid unexpected behavior.  This is a quick way to confirm if your script button includes audio before you click on it.

Here is an example of the audio icon appearance when enabled:

Answer/Steps

  1. Click the Display Studio Hub to open the Main Menu, then select the Properties submenu. Click Settings to open the Display Studio Properties dialog box.

  2. Under Workspace Management, place a check in front of Show/Hide Audio Icons to show the Audio Icons. Removing the check will disable the icon visibility.
Note: This setting is unique each workspace.  The changes will not sync to multiple clients and the Show Control Server.
