Data Display is stuck in an all on test pattern

Potential Symptoms

  • All LEDs on and remain on after boot up.
  • Moving pattern on display.
  • Display is stuck in an all on test pattern.

Cause

  • A dip switch in SW2 has inadvertently been switched to the on position.
  • A new card left the factory with a test pattern on.

Resolution

  • Flip all switches on SW2 (the narrow black bank of switches) to the off position and reset the sign.
