Content presentations(Scrolling text, Animations, Videos)are not playing on the sign; Animated content is turned off
Potential Symptoms
Presentations made with Content Studio or Web Presentation and scheduled within VCS are not playing on the display for animated content.
Scrolling text messages not playing.
Countdown not counting down on display.
Content does not show on Dashboard preview when scheduled to play.
Content created in Web Compositor with multiple slides or with custom duration wont play and gives an alert: "Presentations with a duration or videos will only play on Displays that allow Animated Content."

Venus Control Suite (VCS)
Cause
Animated Content turned off in VCS but is required to be turned on for presentations to play.
Resolution
Turn on Animated Content in VCS.
Click on the "
Displays
" tab on the left-hand menu in VCS.
Select the appropriate display.
Click on the "
Scheduling
" tab in the display menu on the left.
Under "
Animated Content
," select "
On
."
Click the "
Save
" button up top.
Note
:
If Animated Content needs to remain disabled or turned off due to municipality ordinances, see the following:
