Steps
- On the Administrator screen there is a button to "Defragment Hard-Drive". You can press this button and a black DOS based window will appear and begin the defragment process, and will close upon completion. *This may take a very long time to complete depending on how fragmented the system is.
- Alternatively, Open the START button, go to Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Defragmenter and select the D:\ drive and begin the defragment process. *This will give a visual representation of the system during defragmenting, and acts exactly the same as Option #1.
