Content Studio: How do I import images or videos?

Steps

Option 1:

  1. Click on the Home Tab in the ribbon.
  2. In the Quick Insert panel, click on the Media Item drop down.
  3. Choose from either Picture or Video.
  4. Browse to the location of the picture or video and either highlight it and click Open or double-click on it.
  5. Import Window will appear, make any adjustments or changes (cropping, smoothing etc.), click Import.

Option 2:

  1. Click on the Insert Tab in the ribbon.
  2. In the Media panel, click on either Picture or Video.
  3. Browse to the location of the picture or video and either highlight it and click Open or double-click on it.
  4. Import Window will appear, make any adjustments or changes (cropping, smoothing etc.), click Import.
Option 3 (Venus 1500 V4 only):
  1. From the Media Library, choose the Image or Video tab, depending on the type of file you want to import.
  2. From the menu drop down choose:
    • My Documents - This will allow you to search the My Documents Folder.
    • My Pictures\Videos - This will allow you to search the My Pictures or My Videos folder.
    • Daktronics Library - This will allow you to search the Daktronics Media Kit directories folder.
    • Browse - This will allow you to browse and search any folder location selected.
  3. Once a folder or location is selected, click Search.
  4. Double click on image or video, or click drag and drop image or video into the Layout.
  5. Import Window will appear, make any adjustments or changes (cropping, smoothing etc.), click Import.
