Roadways in Riyadh Municipality Inform Drivers with 36 Daktronics LED Displays

Mounted above roadways and tunnels, the displays share critical travel information to keep drivers safe

BROOKINGS, S.D. – June 27, 2025 – Daktronics recently completed the installation of 36 LED displays for Riyadh Municipality in Saudi Arabia to complete the third phase of the city’s tunnel development project. Mounted above roadways and tunnels, these displays provide critical information for motorists and drivers as they move about the city and safely reach their destinations.

LED Display Details

The 36 LED displays that were delivered and installed in 2025 range across four different sizes needed to meet the multiple locations in Riyadh’s traffic system:

• 23 displays measure 2 meters high by 10 meters wide
• Six displays measure 2 meters high by 8 meters wide
• Two displays measure 2 meters high by 6 meters wide
• Five displays measure 2 meters high by 9 meters wide

All displays feature 15.8-millimeter pixel spacing to deliver excellent image quality so messages can be delivered in vibrant color to connect with passersby.
