OG&E Coliseum Brings Video Focus to Live Events with Daktronics Centerhung System
The five-display centerhung and four scorers tables are set to keep audiences entertained and informed
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Sept. 22, 2025 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with OKC Fair Park to bring a new five-display centerhung system and four courtside scorers tables to OG&E Coliseum in Oklahoma City. The installation was completed in time with the construction of the new venue and is ready to inform and engage audiences.
“This building, with its state-of-the-art amenities, will be a game changer for the numerous national and international events that take place at OKC Fair Park every year,” said Kirk Slaughter, President & CEO for Oklahoma State Fair, Inc.
Centerhung Configuration Details
The focal point of the installation is the five-display centerhung configuration that features four main video displays and a lower ring display. Each of the video displays measures nearly 11 feet high by 20 feet wide while the lower ring measures more than 3 feet high by 75.5 feet in circumference. Each display features a 3.9-millimeter pixel spacing to deliver crisp, clear imagery.
Each main display is capable of variable content zoning, allowing each to show one large image or multiple zones of content to fit the needs of each event. This includes any combination of live video, replays, graphics and animations, game information, sponsorship messages and more.
“This display system is going to enhance the overall experience of every event brought to OG&E Coliseum,” said Perry Grave, Daktronics regional sales manager. “We’re looking forward to seeing the centerhung in use at this great new venue as it welcomes audiences for multiple events.”
The project includes four courtside scorers tables, each measuring roughly 2.5 feet high by 10 feet wide. These can be connected in any configuration, including all four together for a full 40-foot display experience. These can show supplemental content to the main displays to create a fully immersive visual experience.
