Daktronics Provides Multiple LED Displays for Cadillac Fairview
Four displays installed in Alberta and Ontario
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Feb. 21, 2018 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, announced today multiple projects for Cadillac Fairview (CF), one of the largest owners, operators and developers of best-in-class office, retail and mixed-use properties in North America. The company has provided four LED displays for CF at three leading shopping centers across Canada.
Two new indoor displays were added to CF Chinook Centre in Calgary, Alberta, and one to CF Sherway Gardens in Toronto, Ontario. A fourth, outdoor display was added to CF Toronto Eaton Centre, located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The installations took place this past fall ahead of the 2017 holiday season and are being used to showcase original content from CF and its retailers, as well as revenue-generating advertising opportunities.
"We're excited about the opportunities these displays provide for sharing premium content within our shopping centers," said Jodi Clare, Director, Partnerships Marketing, Cadillac Fairview. "The addition of these displays not only evolves our advertising capabilities but ultimately changes the face of our properties, and we could not be more pleased with the final result."
Daktronics installed an 11-foot-high by 17-foot-wide display featuring a 10-millimeter line spacing at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The display features a convex curvature as it faces Bay Street to provide advertising to passersby.
Daktronics also installed two displays featuring 6-millimeter line spacing for CF Chinook Centre. One display measures 5 feet high by 75 feet wide and the second measures 5 feet high by 76 feet wide. Both feature concave curvatures and are mounted in a circular indoor atrium.
Finally, Daktronics installed a 17-foot-high by 28-foot-wide display at CF Sherway Gardens featuring 6-millimeter line spacing mounted to a bulkhead for maximum advertising exposure.
"We're thrilled to work with Cadillac Fairview on these new installations across Canada," said Mike Novak, Daktronics sales representative. "It's always great to work with a company whose values tightly align with our own. With image quality and overall aesthetics being extremely important in these applications, we feel confident we were able to enhance their customer experience as we provided the best possible solution to fit their needs. We look forward to the continued success of these displays during the games this winter."
Cadillac Fairview partnered with Branded Cities, a premier North American out-of-home advertising company specializing in iconic media in iconic locations, to sell advertising for the new displays.
