Content Studio: JSON/Data Studio fields missing from Dynamic Data Library

Potential Symptoms

  • Dynamic Data Library, the JSON data fields from Data Studio Basketball not available.
  • Data Studio and shows green status for communication to VCS.
  • Content Studio may close with an error when previously-made content with these fields is edited.

Cause

  • Content Studio is not properly logged into

Resolution

  1. Click the orb in the upper left corner of Content Studio, then select "Content Studio Options."

  2. In the left menu, select "Servers Configuration" and click "OK" on the pop-up message.
  3. Click the check-mark next to "Venus Server," then click the words "Venus Server."

  4. Make sure the information in the next window is correct and enter the correct username and password for the VCS account.
  5. Click "Test Connection" and make sure there is now a green check mark to the left of the Venus Server.

  6. Click "OK" and restart Content Studio. Confirm the fields are now available.
