Climate Control Error on VFC, RPM sensors still report values

Potential Symptoms

  • Climate control errors on VFC, RPM sensors still report values

Environment

  • Product:  VM-1020, VFC
  • Component: VFC
  • Control System:  Vanguard software

Cause

  • Possibly due to date/time not being sync'd on DMP and VIP (in VFC)

Resolution

  • Log into web UI of DMP and VIP and verify time is sync'd. 
    • For assistance accessing the DMP and VIP web interfaces, contact Daktronics Technical Support.
  • Log into DMP (if remotely through web UI, then select NTCIP [car icon]) run Climate Control Test Activation to clear the error.
    • Login to VFC
    • Select Sign 1 (or whatever the sign is that you're working with if other than Sign 1)
    • Select Diagnostics
    • Scroll down to and select Climate Control Test Activation
    • Select Confirm and verify passes.
  • Once test passes, verify in in System Health under Home menu in VFC that no Climate Control errors are present
