Steps

* WE ARE NO LONGER OFFERING WINDOWS 7 to WINDOWS 10 UPGRADES.
MICROSOFT HAS DISCONTINUED THE UPGRADE PATH USED FOR SERVER COMPUTERS (Show Control, Venus, DSTI, Stats, SWI, etc) and any DMP/players with Windows 7 are now older than 5 years old. NEW HARDWARE WILL NEED TO BE QUOTED.

How to use the Windows 10 Upgrade Kit
  1. Insert the provided USB stick into an open USB port on the desired Show Control Computer.

  2. Create a local copy of the files.  
    1. For example, create a new folder on your desktop.
    2. Copy the files from the USB stick into this new folder on your desktop.
  3. Click on the setup.exe file.

  4. If prompted, click yes to allow app changes.

  5. Follow the onscreen directions to update the operating system.  Multiple reboots will be required.  
    1. When prompted, enter your VCS credentials during the Show Control install.  

Things to Note:
If the setup fails after windows 10 rebooted the system will restore to the previous state. Run the installer again and to finish the update.  

If there are new red status light errors in Show Control, a program repair will be needed for Show Control.  See: Windows 10 repair or remove programs.
