6000 Processor: Live Video is pushed to left of center SDI input

Potential Symptoms

  • Live Video is pushed to left of center, Right side of Video is blurred
  • Video not centered on display  
  • 720P signal
  • Black bar on bottom and cropping of input after changing from 1080i to 720p in inputs configuration.

Environment

  • Product: VP-6000
  • Component: VP Input Configuration, Advanced
  • Control System: Show Control System

Cause

  • Settings under for the  0 Main VP JavaScript Processing Engine / Config are incorrect for incoming signal.

Resolution

  1. Log into the interface: 6000 Processor: How do I log into the user interface?
  2. Click on the Configuration Icon (wrench) from the left side menu.  (This is for version 21 or later, earlier versions need to access Advanced Config/VidProcs.)
  3. Adjust crop settings under simplesourceconfigtype of the SDI input to match incoming signal size i.e.. 1080 / 720.
    20 = SDI A
    21 = SDI B
    22 = SDI C
    23 = SDI D
  4. Save changes
  5. Restart Firmware or reboot 6000.
