VCS Layouts: How do I Backup and Restore Fusion Layout Files Using Venus Control Suite (VCS)

This is an article for the legacy Venus Layouts.  The new tool is called the Venus Layout Editor.  Layout Editor: How do I add zones and create looks?

Steps

To download a layout file:
  1. Log into Venus Control Suite.  See: Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
  2. Choose Tools from the left menu.
  3. In the tools menu, click on the Layouts tile. 
  4. Click on an existing layout.
  5. Click Download. The file will open.  Save the file.

Import a layout file
  1. Log into Venus Control Suite.  See: Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
  2. Choose Settings from the left menu.
  3. In the settings menu, click on the Layouts option from the left menu.  
  4. Click on the drop down menu for New Layout, and select Upload Layout.

  5. Navigate to the saved layout and select Open.
