Show Control System: How do I execute VP-6000/ DI-6000 face control via scripts?

  • VP-6000/DI-6000 face control via Display Studio scripts
  • Turn off one side or face of my Centerhung display for a concert or other event
  • Show Control's Display Studio script buttons
​​​​​​​Note: This feature only works with certain output types of a 6000 series processor (ProLink) and will not work with others (VMAX)

Environment

  • Product:
  • Components: VP-6000 / DI-6000 (version 18+),
  • Control System: Show Control System (SCS) version 2.16+

Steps

1. Create a Script button in Display Studio.

2. Right click, select New button.

3. Add Line :  VP/DI-6000

4. Check the appropriate 6000 device. - only the primary will be listed in a primary-backup scenarios.

5. Select: Set Enabled Faces

6. Select the outputs to set the faces for.

7. Check the face(s) that you wish to enable. This command will be sent to both the primary and backup.

 8. Save button.
