Cannot line map one or more displays, Incorrect line to line cable installation
Potential Symptoms
- Cannot line map one or more gas price displays but can change price.
- Displays that will not line map do not change price until after the display has left price editing mode.
- The hardware address of the displays may show AFF or may appear backwards.
- A.63, A.62, A.61..... instead of A.00, A.01, A.02....
Environment

Cause
- Signal (line to line) cable is not installed properly.
- Drain cable is not installed.
- Drain cable is on the J10 side instead of the J9 side.
- J9 and J10 cables are in the wrong location.
Resolution
- Run signal (line to line) cable properly from J9 to J10 through the entire system (with no loop between first display and last display) while ensuring that the drain cable is on the J9 side.
- J9 is the output and is below the J10 input on the driver board.
