Display Studio Status Error red, File Server not Found, V7000 plug-in

Potential Symptoms

  • Display Studio Status is red with a message "File Server Not Found".
  • Show Control System: Display Studio Status Error 

Environment

  • DVX-103/503 display system
  • Display Studio (SCS) computer

Cause

  • V7000 plug-in was selected during installation of SCS.

Resolution

Remove the V7000 plug in.

  1. Close Display Studio and all Content Studio sessions.
  2. In the Windows Start Menu select Control Panel, and open Programs and Features.
  3. Right Click on Display Studio in the list of programs and select change.
  4. When you get to the Program features setup, Right click on V7000 and select the icon with the red X.
    1. DMP-8000 should be selected
