Potential Symptoms

  • Time or date presentation from Venus 1500 V3 is no longer updating after communicating using Venus 1500 V4 software.

    Cause

    • Venus 1500 V4 does not recognize the RTD from Venus 1500 V3.

    Resolution

    • From the Content tab of Venus 1500 V4 locate the time/date presentation.
    • Double-click or highlight and click Edit at the top to open the file in Content Studio.
    • Enable the field indicators by clicking the View tab and marking the box 'Field Indicators' from the Show/Hide section.
    • If the time/date does not outline with a yellow box, remove the text and insert the time/date from the Insert tab by following How to create a Time, Temp, Date message in Venus 1500 V4, DD2081439.
    • Save the file by going to the Application Menu (orange V) and select Save.
