Fuelight: FL-3000/4500 using Fuelink Web interface, Incorrect amount of displays are showing up in the Fuelink interface

Potential Symptoms

  • Incorrect number of displays are showing up in the Fuelink web interface.

Environment

  • Fuelight
  • FL-3000, FL-4500
  • Fuelink Web Interface Software

Note: For this setup, driver revision has to be revision 31 or higher and DM-100 revision has to be 3.1 or higher.

Cause

  • DM-100 handheld is not setup correctly. 
    • Fuelink web interface software pulls the setup directly from the DM-100. If only one display is setup within the POS section of the handheld, then 1 display will show up within the Fuelink web interface.

Resolution

Setting up the DM-100.

  1. Press the Menu button.
  2. Use the Up or Down arrows to get to Display Menu.  Press Enter.
  3. Use the UP or Down arrows to get to POS Settings.  Press Enter.
  4. Use the Up or Down arrows to get to Generic.  Press Enter.
  5. Press 0001 for the Line 1 Product.  Press Enter.
  6. Press 0002 for the Line 2 Product.  Press Enter.
  7. Continue these steps for as many products as you need to setup.  If there is a product setup on the handheld that should not be, press the Clear button to set that product to None.

Setup the Fuelink web interface.

  1. Login into the Fuelink web interface.  (Reminder: Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox)
  2. Click the Get Data from DM100 button.  This will pull the configuration from the DM-100 into the Fuelink web interface.
