Unable to connect to display using cellular modem; Possible modem lock up

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to access the cellular modem web utility remotely.
  • VIP and DMP are offline in Venus Control Suite.
  • Unable to connect to the modem web interface.
  • If able to connect to the modem, long or high uptime can be seen on the status page.
  • Able to access modem web interface, cannot access DMP or VIP through modem.

Cause

  • Unknown; suspect possible modem lockup.

Resolution

  • Reboot the modem communication by power cycling the display or the modem individually.

For Temporary Operation

  • If able to access the modem, reboot it from the web interface.
