- No. If you change the color depth in your configuration settings, your display will likely blank. The display controller and module type are the limitations to the color depth on the display. If your display is full color, you may create monochrome-like content by creating you message or slide in one color. If your display is monochrome, it is incapable of displaying full color content. The configuration setting has to match that of your display's capabilities in order to publish content.
