ProSwim 1.2.3, Unnamed File not found, Software crashes

Potential Symptoms

  • ProSwim Version 3.0 was installed on the computer previously and the trial was allowed to expire.
  • Uninstalled 3.0 and installed 1.2.3 due to upgrade license not being purchased.
  • Getting An Unnamed file not found error and the program crashes after licensing 1.2.3. Verified that DD2208616 was not the cause.

Environment

  • ProSwim Version 1.2.3
  • Windows XP

Cause

  • Unknown: Suspect corrupted installation of Version 1.2.3

Resolution

  1. Uninstall ProSwim and if ProDive if present in Control Panel.
  2. Rename Program/Daktronics folder to .old and Program Data/Daktronics to .old as well.
  3. Reinstall V1.2.3.
  4. License should be present so no need to relicense it.
