Lag or delay in changing prices on FL-3000, Bad driver
Potential Symptoms
- Primary or Secondary driver price won't change until after decimal stops flashing.
- Price may take up to a few minutes to change.
- Have to estimate how far to change price.
- Other drivers may or may not change prices.
- Displays do go through boot up and no loops in system with line to line cables.
- Bypassing first driver (i.e. hooking comm equipment up to next driver) resolves issue.
Environment
- Product: FL-3000/4500 , DF-2300
- Components: driver
- Control System: FLR3-100 (may not be specific to flr3-100 comm)
Cause
- Bad/faulty driver.
Resolution
- Replace driver.
- If using FLR3-100 communication, one will likely need to perform the following steps:
Work Around
- In the meantime, bypass the primary driver or swap it with the last driver in the series.
