Environment

  • Venus 1500 v4.19
  • Known Fonts: JOAN
    • List may change as more Symbol Type fonts are discovered

Cause

There was a change in the rendering of text to allow Webdings symbols to appear, and the new text rendering does not support font types that are actually created as Symbols rather then text.

Resolution

Contact Daktronics Technical Support for assistance.

Work Around

Use a different Font Type for the text in the layout or use the Character Map from Insert tab in Content Studio, and select the text symbols rather then type the text from a keyboard.
