DCGI: Color RTD missing from Chyron CG

Potential Symptoms

  • Fields that should change color based upon RTD are staying the default color
  • Color RTD is enabled in DSTI
  • You can see the color information being sent from the DCGI software

Environment

  • Chyron with Lyric software
  • DSTI
  • DCGI

Cause

The browser window is not open in the Lyric software.  This is required as it houses all of the custom fonts used on the Chyron templates.

 

Resolution

  1. From the Lyric software, click on the View menu and choose Browsers                View-Browsers.jpg
  2. The Browsers window opens and needs to remain open for the Color RTD to work properly
