Driver not able to communicate with key fob, Replace host driver

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to sync FL-3000/4500 with FL3-100 key fob remote
  • Comm Light (DS1) on input driver flashes whether there is something in J16 or not.
  • Swapping the host driver that the receiver plugs into makes system work except for the original driver.
  • Able to sync the host driver with the key fob remote but unable to edit any prices, unable to line map, even though factory reset was attempted.

Cause

  • Issue with driver communication input.

Resolution

  1. Replace problem driver.
  2. Sync remote How to sync the key fob to the FL-3000/4500 Gas Price Display, DD2371987.
  3. Address product lines accordingly How to Line map, using key fob, FL-3000/4500 Gas Price Displays, DD2374801.

For Temporary Operation

  • Swap host driver with another driver.
